It makesa click every single time the right pedal goes over the top and comes tobe under weight again. It’s absolutely unambiguously loose on one side.If this was my summer road bike, I would replace the bottom bracket todaywithout hesitation. But instead, I’m going to ride this sucker until itactually becomes problematic. Still hoping to get 5000 miles or 5-10winters (probably about 600 miles a year on my winter bike).
He’s no stranger to enduro racing either and has raced in a multitude of different events. The result is one of the most capable cross-country mountain bikes we have ridden. Superbly confident and composed on descents that should be way above its cross-country remit yet it doesn’t give an inch when the trail points up either.

Specialized now produces bikes for all disciplines from downhill mountain biking to aero time-trial bikes. What they all have in common is that they are consistently some of the best bikes that are available on the market. The bikes they make are some of the finest available and they keep making knockout hits. If you are looking for a great mountain bike, starting with a great brand isn’t a guarantee, but reputation still counts for a lot. I did get the longer seat tube, but it still feels like a too-smallbike.
The amount you can expect to receive in store credit when trading in your bike with a dealer. In other news, I fixed up my Specialized MTB that was falling apart.Bought a new rear wheel. Brutally straightened the rear drop out with anadjustable wrench, and it doesn’t eat axles anymore. I spent half an hour working WD40 into the rearderailleur and found to my surprise that it works flawlessly even afterall these years of being grimed solid. It’snot in great shape either — its bottom bracket is even loose — but itrides a lot more easily than the Huffy so I may not go back. The end of the Superia came when things were starting to (literally) fall apart.
